Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned analyst to support the migration from Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) to Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS). This is a new role focused on functional ownership of business logic, calculations, and semantic design rather than hands?on development. The ideal candidate will serve as the functional bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that financial logic, metrics, and outputs are clearly defined, governed, and sustained over time across DFCS / FSDF platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and define a results or semantic layer that translates complex financial data into business-friendly structures
  • Establish, document, and maintain business and calculation logic, ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms
  • Define how logic is governed, documented, and sustained over time, reducing ambiguity and rework
  • Bridge business requirements with technical implementation in DFCS / FSDF, acting as the functional authority for logic and outputs
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product, and engineering teams to clarify requirements, resolve logic questions, and support delivery

Required Skills & Experience

  • Seasoned analyst with recent experience working on enterprise financial or analytical data platforms, specifically DFCS and/or FSDF
  • Proven ability to define, govern, and maintain business and calculation logic, with ownership over how logic and outputs are designed (not coding the solution directly)
  • Strong experience designing and managing semantic or results layers for reporting and analytics consumption
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Solid understanding of SQL with the ability to read, analyze, validate, and challenge logic implemented by developers, including table relationships, joins, and transformations
  • Experience with user story writing, Jira, and participation in Agile ceremonies

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting use cases
  • Exposure to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse
