Tableau Platform Administrator (BI & Cloud)
- Manage and optimize enterprise Tableau platform (installation, configuration, performance, scalability, and monitoring)
- Support end-to-end Tableau migration, including workbook/dashboard promotion across environments
- Automate deployments, alerts, and admin tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
- Collaborate with BI, Data, and Architecture teams to design and enable a scalable analytics ecosystem
- Administer security (SSO/SAML, role-level access) and integrate Tableau with systems like Salesforce and AWS
- Troubleshoot user issues and maintain platform reliability, logs, and backups
- Work with data sources such as Redshift, Athena, SQL Server, and Snowflake; write and optimize SQL queries
- Establish governance, standards, and best practices for Tableau usage and administration
Requirements:
- 6+ years of Tableau experience (4+ in administration preferred)
- Strong SQL and Tableau Admin expertise; some development experience
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based BI environments preferred
- Solid understanding of networking (AD, DNS, load balancers) and security integrations
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
